Our History

The Foundation was established in 1995 as the Sunridge Foundation.  It was the brain-child of local visionaries who saw a community need.  The various educational, cultural and humanitarian non-profit organizations needed additional funding if they were to grow and survive.  The Sunridge Foundation was created as an all volunteer, 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization (EIN - 86-0800268), to provide financial support to these needy hometown community organizations.

Keeping Up With A Growing Community

As the community has grown, so has the need for funding.  In 2006, the Sunridge Foundation evolved into the Fountain Hills Community Foundation (the Foundation).  With its new name comes a greater opportunity to provide financial support to the qualifying organizations that are in need.

Mission

The Fountain Hills Community Foundation is dedicated to supporting educational, cultural and humanitarian activities in the Fountain Hills area.
